CIVIL CASES Please refer to General Civil Filing Information under Filing Procedures for additional filing information. Capital habeas corpus petitions, bankruptcy cases and civil cases, except those referred to the magistrate judge, enumerated below, are deemed pending in the division where the district judge holds court. Therefore, subsequent documents for these cases must be filed at the location where the district judge is located. If the district judge is located in Los Angeles, capital habeas corpus petitions, multi district litigation cases and bankruptcy cases shall be addressed to: United States District Court 312 N. Spring St. Attention: Room G-19, Pro Se Unit Los Angeles, CA 90012 If the district judge is located in Los Angeles, all other civil filings by mail shall be addressed to: United States District Court 312 N. Spring St. Attention: Room G-19, Civil Intake Section Los Angeles, CA 90012 If the district judge is located in Santa Ana or Riverside, all civil filings by mail shall be addressed to either: Southern Division 411 West Fourth St., Rm 1053 Santa Ana, CA 92701-4516 or Eastern Division 3470 Twelfth St., Rm. 134 Riverside, CA 92501 Non-capital habeas corpus petitions, pro se civil rights cases, social security cases and other matters referred to a magistrate judge are deemed pending where the magistrate judge holds court. Therefore, subsequent documents for these cases must be filed at the location where the magistrate judge is located. If the magistrate judge is located in Los Angeles, pro se non-capital habeas corpus petitions, and pro se civil rights cases shall be addressed to: United States District Court 312 N. Spring St. Attention: Room G-19, Pro Se Unit Los Angeles, CA 90012 If the magistrate judge is located in Los Angeles, all other civil filings by mail, including social security cases and other matters referred to a magistrate judge, shall be addressed to: United States District Court 312 N.
