  1. Civil motion hearings are held on Mondays at 10:00 a.m., or at such other time as set by the Court after Consultation with counsel. Criminal motion hearings, Bail Review hearings, or Change of Plea hearings are held Mondays at 2:00 p.m., or at such other time as set by the Court after consultation with counsel.

  2. To request a continuance of a scheduled proceeding before this Court, counsel should file a joint stipulation and proposed order or, alternatively, an ex parte application and proposed order. Any ex parte application which does not comply with Local Rule 7-19 will be returned.

  3. Inquiries regarding the status of a motion, stipulation, or ex parte application should be made to the Courtroom Deputy Clerk.

  4. In case of calendar conflicts, please advise the Courtroom Deputy Clerk in advance and attempt to stipulate to an alternative date and time with opposing counsel after clearing the alternative date and time with the Courtroom Deputy Clerk.

  5. Prior to any appearance in court, counsel should provide the Courtroom Deputy Clerk with a card identifying counsel’s name, address, and phone number.

  6. During all hearings or at trial, counsel should address the Court or the Jury from the lectern.

  7. To obtain a transcript of any reported or digitally recorded proceeding, please contact the assigned court reporter/recorder. To determine the court reporter/recorder for a particular proceeding, go to the Court Reporter Schedule web page and click on View by Date. Once you've determined the correct court reporter/recorder for the desired session, click on Court Reporter Phone and Email List for contact information.

  8. One copy of each e-filed document shall be delivered to the courtesy copy tray outside of the courtroom no later than 12:00 p.m. Return envelopes are not needed for proposed orders.

  9. Counsel shall not contact the Judge's law clerks or judicial assistant. All case-related calls should be made to the Courtroom Deputy Clerk unless initiated by chamber's staff.
