UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT CENTRAL DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA PUBLIC NOTICE Effective June 1, 2004, the compenstion policy regarding the services of Attorney Settlement Officers will be as follows: Attorney Settlement Officers shall volunteer their preparation time and the first three hours in a settlement proceeding. After three hours of the settlement proceeding, the Attorney Settlement Officer may (1) give the parties the option of concluding the settlement proceeding, (2) continue the settlement proceeding and volunteer his or her time, or (3) continue the settlement proceeding on such terms and rates as the Attorney Settlement Officer and all parties agree in a private, written contract.
