ACCEPTANCE OF CREDIT CARDS


Effective July 3, 2006, the Clerk’s Offices in Los Angeles, Santa Ana and Riverside, will begin to accept credit cards (Mastercard/Visa, Discover, American Express) for filing fees and miscellaneous fees. Credit card payments may be made at all payment windows at these locations where receipts are issued.

The Court will continue to accept checks drawn on business or client trust accounts. No personal checks or checks drawn on non-business accounts will be accepted from either attorneys or the public. The Court will continue to accept all federal, state, and local government issued checks, as well as bank cashier checks and U.S. Postal Service money orders made payable to the United States District Court.
