In an effort to assist the media in its service of informing the public about special programs and events that take place within or impact the federal court, the United States District Court, Central District of California is offering the opportunity for all media personnel to be added to the Court's electronic (e-mail) press release service system. This service will allow Notices from the Clerk and press releases to be simultaneously transmitted to all individuals in the media who enroll in this program. Enrollment can be canceled at any time. There is no fee; however, enrollment is limited to media personnel.
To enroll, please complete the attached form and fax it to the name and number indicated on the form. (This form may also be used to withdraw from this service and/or to update an e-mail address.)
This e-mail distribution service is only to receive notice of special programs and events in the Court. To receive automatic e-mail notification of electronic filings made in specific civil and criminal cases, please see the section entitled "CM/ECF Media Access" which is located in the Media Section of this website.
