Position Overview: 

The Court is recruiting for a well-organized, detail-oriented individual who possesses exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.  This position reports to the Financial Director.

Representative Responsibilities: 
  • Research the availability of goods or services by vendors and vendor types.
  • Advise and follow up with customers on various purchasing options.
  • Process purchase requests following department protocol to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
  • Use the Judiciary Integrated Financial Management System (JIFMS) and Sharepoint to process orders.
  • Research the Guide to Judiciary Policy for guidance and instruction, as needed.
  • Follow up with vendors on issues relating to quality and billing questions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications: 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of specialized experience equivalent to work at a CL 23.

COURT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two years of general office experience.  Direct work experience (specialized experience) related to the processing of legal documents such as in a law office, a court in judicial system or financial institution is highly desirable.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Dependability and reliability is a must.
  • Type 35 wpm.
  • The successful candidate must be able to bend, pull, push and lift up to 40 pounds, reach, walk, stand and/or sit for extended periods, with or without accommodation.

PREFERENCES:

  • Familiar with Excel.
  • Experience using inventory programs highly desirable.
  • College course work or college degree.
