Judge Victor B. Kenton

Victor B. Kenton was appointed as a Magistrate Judge in 2001. Prior to his appointment, he practiced law with the Federal Public Defender’s Office in this district, and prior to that he was in private practice with Arthur Crowley, P.C. He has also worked as a sole practitioner. He handled both civil and criminal litigation over a period of eighteen years, ranging from antitrust, wrongful terminations and wage disputes, to contract cases and corporate litigation. He has taught as an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University School of Law, and spoken on electronic discovery to bar and Court panels.

Judge Kenton received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and his law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
