Receiving Press Releases by E-Mail
To assist the media in informing the public about new developments, special programs, and events that take place at or impact the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the Court is offering media personnel the opportunity to be added to its press release e-mail mailing list. This service enables members of the media who sign up for the service to receive press releases and Notices from the Clerk via e-mail as soon as they are issued by the Court. There is no fee for this service; however, enrollment is limited to media personnel, who may cancel their enrollment at any time.
To enroll for this service, please complete the form attached below and fax it to the number indicated on the form. (This form may also be used to withdraw from this service or to update an e-mail address.)
This service only enables members of the media to receive press releases and Notices from the Clerk issued by the Court. To receive automatic e-mail notifications of electronic filings in specific civil and criminal non-sealed cases, please refer to the section titled "CM/ECF Media Access: Receiving E-Mail Notifications of Electronic Filings in Specific Cases" located in the "Media" section of this website.
