You may postpone your jury service three times within one year from your initial report date.

You will have an opportunity to request a postponement when you complete your online questionnaire [1]. Please indicate the month in which you are available to report. If you have previously postponed your service or have already submitted your questionnaire, you may call 213-894-3644 between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, except federal holidays, to speak to a clerk about postponing your service. You may also request a postponement in writing by faxing your request to 213-894-3751 or by emailing it to jury@cacd.uscourts.gov [2].

Jurors who appear and are granted their request to have their jury service postponed or excused are not entitled to any jury fees.
