The Central District of California was upgraded to CM/ECF Version 5 on February 19, 2013.  One of the new features requires users to create more secure passwords.  After logging in with your current password, a pop-up message will instruct you to change your password. Click here [1] for information on changing your password and other new features including new nature of suit codes.  If your e-mail address has changed, you are required to update it in the CM/ECF System, Local Rule 5-4.8.  After logging into CM/ECF, click on Utilities --> Maintain Your e-mail and update your e-mail address.
