Judge Patricia Donahue

Patricia Donahue was appointed as a United States Magistrate Judge in May 2020. Prior to her appointment, she served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Los Angeles, where she held the positions of Chief of Trials, Integrity and Professionalism, Chief of the National Security Division, Chief of the Violent and Organized Crime Section, and Chief of the General Crimes Section. She handled a wide variety of matters from investigation through appeal and tried numerous cases. Earlier, she practiced civil litigation with the firm now known as Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Mitchell.

Judge Donahue received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her law degree from the UCLA School of Law.
