2016 Holiday Schedule

On Friday, December 23, 2016 and Friday, December 30, 2016, the Clerk’s Office in Los Angeles (Intake Sections located in the Spring St. Courthouse and the Roybal Federal building), Santa Ana and Riverside, will be open on a limited basis only.  Court staff in the Civil Intake Section will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to accept filings for emergency matters only. 

For criminal duty court, only the Los Angeles locations listed above will be open and will be limited to emergency or urgent matters.  The cut-off time to place a defendant on the criminal duty calendar will be 1:00 p.m.  All criminal duty calendar matters will be heard at 2:00 p.m.  All matters intended to be heard on the duty calendar must have all necessary paperwork submitted to Criminal Intake by 1:00 p.m.

On Monday, December 26, 2016, the United States District Court, Central District of California, will be closed in recognition of the Christmas Day holiday.

Regular service will resume on Tuesday, December 27, 2016.
