Holiday Schedule

On Monday, December 26, 2022, the United States District Court, Central District of California, will be closed in observance of the Christmas holiday.

Regular service will resume on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

On Friday, December 23, 2022 and Friday, December 30, 2022 the Clerk’s Office in Los Angeles, Santa Ana and Riverside will be available on a limited basis only.  To post a bond or submit an emergency, time-sensitive filing such as a temporary restraining order, call the following telephone numbers:

For criminal duty court, only the Los Angeles location will be open and will be limited to emergency or urgent matters.  The cut-off time to place a defendant on the criminal duty calendar will be 12:00 p.m.  All matters intended to be heard on the duty calendar must have the necessary paperwork submitted to Criminal Intake by 12:00 p.m.  The duty calendar will be set for 1:00 p.m.

On Monday, January 2, 2023, the United States District Court, Central District of California, will be closed in observance of New Year’s Day.                                                                                                          

Regular service will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

As a reminder, the court’s CM/ECF system is available 24/7 for electronic filing of documents.
