Amended Local Rules Effective December 1, 2016

The amended Local Civil Rules and Local Criminal Rules listed below will become effective December 1, 2016. Redlined versions of these rules, as well as complete copies of the Local Civil Rules and Local Criminal Rules that will be effective December 1, 2016, are available on the Court’s website and accompany the electronic version of this notice.

Local Civil Rules:
•L.R. 83-6.2.3 [Possession and Use of Broadcasting, Recording, Photography, andCommunications Equipment in the Court – Covered Areas]
•L.R. 83-17.2 [Timely Notice of Execution Dates From California Attorney General]
Local Criminal Rules:
•L.Cr.R. 46-2.1 [Written Consent of Surety and Third-Party Custodian]

All proceedings in cases commenced on or after December 1, 2016, and, insofar as just and practicable, all proceedings then pending will be governed by these amended rules.
