Rescheduling of Hearing in USA v. Youssef from November 9 at 2:00 p.m. to November 7 at 1:30 p.m. - UPDATE

The hearing in USA v. Youssef, 09-cr-00617-CAS, that was previously scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on November 9, 2012, has been rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012.  A limited number of seats will be available in Courtroom 890 of the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building and Courthouse to those who are interested in viewing the proceeding via videoconferencing. Linda Deutsch of the Associated Press will serve as the pool reporter, and will be available to meet with the press after the hearing on the sidewalk outside the Main Street entrance of the Spring Street Courthouse.  

Seating Procedures:

Seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and there will be no special seating allotments or procedures for the media.  Beginning at 12:30 p.m., a limited number of passes to be seated in Courtroom 890 will be handed out to those arriving at Courtroom 890 in the order of arrival. 

Collection of Electronic Devices:

All cell phones, cameras, laptops, PDAs, audio recorders, and other devices capable of the taking or making of photographs or video or sound recordings or for broadcasting will be collected before entering the courtroom.
