Updated Holiday Schedule

Due to the extreme storm warnings and possible flooding on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, the Clerk’s Office in Los Angeles, Santa Ana and Riverside will be available on a limited basis only.  For emergency filings only, please contact the Intake Department staff as follows:

On Thursday, December 25, 2025, the United States District Court, including the Probation and Pretrial Services Office, in the Western, Eastern, and Southern Divisions, will be closed in recognition of the Christmas holiday.

Regular service will resume on Monday, December 29, 2025.

On Friday, December 26, 2025, and Friday, January 2, 2026, the Clerk’s Office in Los Angeles, Santa Ana and Riverside will be available on a limited basis only.  To post a bond or submit an emergency, time-sensitive filing such as a temporary restraining order, call the following telephone numbers:

On these two days, only the Los Angeles location will be open for emergency criminal bench duty and criminal document duty matters.  The cut-off time to place a defendant on the criminal duty calendar will be 11:00 a.m.  All matters intended to be heard on the duty calendar must have the necessary paperwork submitted to Criminal Intake by 11:00 a.m.  The duty calendar will be set for 1:00 p.m. 

On Thursday, January 1, 2026, the United States District Court, including the Probation and Pretrial Services Office, in the Western, Eastern, and Southern Divisions, will be closed in recognition of New Year’s Day.                                                                                                        

Regular service will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026.
