Holiday Schedule

On Monday, December 25, 2023, the United States District Court, Central District of California, will be closed in recognition of the Christmas holiday.

Regular service will resume on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

On Friday, December 22 and Friday, December 29, 2023 the Clerk’s Office in Los Angeles, Santa Ana and Riverside will be available on a limited basis only.  To post a bond or submit an emergency, time-sensitive filing such as a temporary restraining order, call the following telephone numbers:

For criminal duty court, only the Los Angeles location will be open and will be limited to emergency or urgent matters.  The cut-off time to place a defendant on the criminal duty calendar will be 11:00 a.m.  All matters intended to be heard on the duty calendar must have the necessary paperwork submitted to Criminal Intake by 11:00 a.m.  The duty calendar will be set for 1:00 p.m. 

On Monday, January 1, 2024, the United States District Court, Central District of California, will be closed in recognition of New Year’s Day.                                                                                                  

Regular service will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

As a reminder, the court’s CM/ECF system is available 24/7 for electronic filing of documents.
