Frederick F. Mumm was appointed as a Magistrate Judge in 2006. Prior to his appointment, Judge Mumm was a partner with Davis Wright Tremaine in Los Angeles, where he specialized in intellectual property, media and entertainment litigation. Judge Mumm also previously served as Associate General Counsel of CBS Broadcasting, Inc., and as a partner with Walter Finestone & Richter.
Judge Mumm received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his law degree from the College of William and Mary.
