Additional Changes to Local Rules Proposed to Become Effective June 1, 2024

In February 2024, a Notice from the Clerk issued regarding amendments to the local rules proposed to be effective on June 1, 2024.  Since then, the Court has approved another amendment and an addition to the local rules listed below, proposed to be effective on June 1, 2024.  A redline of the proposed changes accompanies the electronic version of this notice and can also be found on the Court’s website.  The proposed amended and additional rules are the following: 

Local Civil Rules:

• L.R. 83-1.3.3 (revision)
• L.R. 83-11 (new)

Members of the public are invited to submit comments on the proposed changes to the rules.  Comments may be submitted to <lr_publiccomments@cacd.uscourts.gov>.  Only comments submitted by electronic mail to this address will be considered.

All comments must be submitted no later than May 17, 2024.  All timely received comments will be considered by the Court before final adoption of the rules.
